We came home to find a great surprise after school on Wednesday!!A little leprechaun had come to our house!!! Sophia couldn't believe it, she was so excited!!
The leprechaun left little green footprints throughout the house (or green shadows, as Sophie called them).
We followed the footprints, and we found some surprises.
We followed the footprints in the living room first, and we found a plate of candy and gold coins for Sophia!! Then, they led us into the kitchen....
In the kitchen, we found our milk had been transformed. Sophia has been telling everyone that a little man turned our milk green.
The best part of this St. Patrick's Day experience is that we found out that Sophia loves colored milk. She drank 4 cups of milk on St. Patrick's Day, which is incredible considering that we normally have to beg her to drink just one cup.
So, thank you leprechauns for giving us the idea to color Sophie's milk..... I'm thinking next week we will go with purple.
Sophie looks so excited with that plate of candy on her lap! She is such a cutie!! I am glad you discovered the "color her milk" trick. Let me know if she enjoys the other colors as much as she likes green.
