Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas Everyone!! We had a great Christmas, and we hope that all of you did too!

Sophia helped mommy and daddy make this gingerbread house. It was a lot of fun, and a great way to get ready for Christmas!

We made sugar cookies for Santa, and we left them for him on Christmas eve on this cute plate that Grandma Shelly gave to us (we also left some carrots for the reindeer). The key on the left was for Santa to get inside our house, since we don't have a fireplace or chimney. Sophia was so tired on Christmas eve night, but she still seemed excited to leave the cookies for Santa.

These are the stockings that I made for us this year. Sophia loves her "Hello Kitty" stocking, and she kept telling me that Santa was going to put candy and toys in it. When she saw it filled up on Christmas morning, she was so excited.

Santa brought Sophia a trampoline for Christmas! She was so excited! She jumps on it all the time! It is a great way for her to get rid of some of her energy.

Santa brought Sophie this table and chairs set, and Grandma Jodie and Papa gave her the "Littlest Pet Shop" house. She loves to play with all of the little animals at her table.

Grandma Jodie and Papa gave Sophia this easel. It has a white board, chalk board, and a paper roll for painting. Sophia just loves it.

Here are most of Sophie's christmas presents. Although she doesn't look very happy in this picture, she really was happy all day long!

This is the "Bitty Baby" that Grandma Shelly and Grandpa Jerry gave Sophie for Christmas. The baby came with clothes, a bottle, a teddy bear, and a carrying backpack. Sophia just loves this doll, she tucks it in bed with her everynight.

Here are Burgundy and Travis on Christmas day. It was fun to hang out with them all day!

Grandpa Jerry and Sophie took Burgundy on a sleigh ride. Grandpa and Sophie rode the four-wheeler and pulled Burgundy behind on a sled. It was so funny, because the dogs started chasing the sled, and then the horses started chasing the dogs. Check out the video at the bottom to see it in action. (I didn't get a very good video of it, but it was a pretty cool sight).

Snow Day!

Here is our little family on our first snow day of the year. We went sledding and threw snowballs. Sophia was a little unsure at first, because she said the snow was "messy" and she doesn't like to get dirty, but after she threw her first snowball and went down the hill on the sled, she was so happy and excited to be in the snow. We had a lot of fun!

Sophie had so much fun sledding down the hill.

Here is mommy and Sophie having fun.

Daddy and Sophie climbing the hill.

Sophia learned how to throw her first snowball... she thought it was the best thing ever!

Happy Dino-ween!!

We had a great Halloween (or as Sophie says "Dino-ween")!!! Sophia picked out her own costume, and she was so excited about it. She had been practicing roaring, by scaring Kyle when he got home from work everyday before Halloween.

Here is Sophie before we went out trick-or-treating, she had already started eating candy.... she was hopped up on sugar all night!

Sophia and Mea were so happy to be together, and it was fun to watch them trick-or-treat together.

They had fun looking at all of the scary halloween decorations on their way to the houses.

This is Sophia at the end of the night, she was so tired and sticky!

Here are Sophie, Mea, and baby June on Halloween day.

This is a gingerbread haunted house that we made at home, Sophia ate the candy as I built and decorated it.

Sophia painted her own Halloween pumpkin, she kept saying it was beautiful!

Here are our pumpkins this year. Kyle carved the cool skeleton and scary face, and I did the bat. Sophia's pumpkin is the little one.

It was such a fun Halloween! I can't wait until next year... it will be interesting to see what Sophia will want to be.

Fun in the Fall!

I know that it has been a long time since we posted anything new on our blog, but here we go. We are so excited that fall is here, and we have been having fun. We went to The American West Heritage Center here in Cache Valley, and we had a lot of fun. We went through a corn maze, rode a train (which Sophia called the "dinosaur train" because of her favorite tv show), rode down a steep slide on potato sacks, saw animals at the petting zoo, Sophia rode a pony, and we went on a wagon ride through a pumpkin patch. There were so many things to do there, and we had a lot of fun.

Here is Sophia on a walk up the canyon before we went to the park.

Here is a picture of the scenery at the park, it was really pretty.

Sophia got to ride a pony, her name is Hannah. She was so excited to ride a horse!

At the petting zoo area, we got to pet miniature goats. They were really cute.

Kyle's dad came up for a week to visit. It was good to see him and it was fun for Sophia to spend time with her Grandpa.

Best Friends

Sophia and Mea are the best of friends. Sophia talks about Mea almost everyday. Here are a couple pictures of the girls together.

A Day with Dinosaurs

Sophia is dusting off some dinosaur bones.... this was her favorite part of the day.

Sophie and Cameron are grillin' up some Dino Burgers.

My mom and Sophie pretending to be "The World's Most Dangerous Creature."

My mom, my brother Cameron, Sophia, and I decided to go to the Dinosaur Park last week. It was so fun and interesting to learn about all of the different dinosaurs. Sophia was a little scared at first (the dinosaurs were life-size and some of them made scary noises), but she ended up having fun once she realized they were fake.

ZOO!!

On our trip to Bountiful this last weekend, Sophia and I got to go to the Hogle Zoo with my parents and my brothers. It was so much fun! Sophia loved to see all of the animals and be with our family. We went to a bird show, saw lots of different of animals, rode the carousel, and ate ice cream. It was a really fun day!! We both can't wait to go back!
